Her practice is recognised for its emotional depth and sustained engagement with the everyday. Working in the documentary tradition, she transforms fields, gardens, domestic interiors, and moments of pause into meditation on time. Koenning approaches photography as a relational encounter, exploring community and kinship through fragmentary and open-ended images.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eWidely exhibited and published, she won the Bowness Photography Prize in 2019 and earlier that year held a solo exhibition at MAPh entitled \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/maph.org.au\/exhibitions\/198\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eSwell\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e. \u003cspan\u003eKoenning makes images that sit at the limit of documentary photography. In \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003eSwell\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, the artist addressed collective states of environmental urgency in which we find ourselves.
