About Fused Glass by Em

Glass artist Emily Duffin lives in the beautiful island state of Tasmania. Setting up her studio in 2017 with her very own glass kiln, Emily has been evolving her practice and experimenting with different glass objects. Working primarily with cold glass, her process involves cutting and assembling the glass before sending it into the kiln for the fusing to occur. Many pieces undergo a multiple firing sessions. This whole process can take over 30 hours.
